無可諱言，Lush的一曲〈For Love〉絕對是許多獨立樂迷所鍾愛的90年代初期金曲之一，甚至主唱Mikie Berenyi更是很多人心目中的Indie Sexy-Symbol！在當時，音樂中同時融合著大量dreamy與noisy吉他feedback效果以及catchy曲調的Lush，早已被譽為shoegaze音樂風潮的先驅之一，影響力絕對不下於Slowdive、Ride，同時該團92年那張由一手發掘他們的Cocteau Twins吉他手Robin Guthrie所製作的《Spooky》專輯，也絕對是一張shoegaze風潮必備名盤。  

這張精選《Ciao! Best Of》平均地從樂團三張專輯《Spooky》、《Split》、《Lovelife》以及早期EP合輯《Gala》各自挑選四到五首代表性歌曲，幾乎含括了所有曾發行的單曲以及公認為該團最佳b-side作品之一的〈Love At First Sight〉，絕對足以反映Lush八年間的創作精華。採「倒敘」手法的曲序編排使得整張精選由Punky又Catchy的〈Lady Killer〉與〈Single Girl〉揭開序幕，〈500(Shake Baby Shake)〉絕對是Lush有史以來最Folky流行的作品，〈Hypocrite〉與當時Throwing Muses風格不謀而合，dreamy線條與post-punk沈穩動力完美契合的〈For Love〉今天聽來依舊讓人沈溺，最後以纖細迷濛的dream-pop曲〈Etheriel〉作結。
