《圓缺》不僅是一張專輯，它是一本詩集也是一齣獨白。

專輯以十首歌來描繪人降生世界後，即展開了一段如「圓缺」在光與闇之間循環復返的旅程，然後在各自的人生道路上，不同的故事情境中，經歷了傷痕與倖存、壓抑與渴望、愛與恨、脆弱與依賴、生與死、圓滿與缺憾等共同的生命課題。聽感上首度大膽嘗試各種當代豐富多元的電子曲風類型：包含流行、民謠、舞曲及氛圍音樂等，搭配帶有實驗性的電子即興聲響，試圖構築一個打破台灣聽眾對於台語流行音樂既定想像的聲音場域。
