65daysofstatic早在2004年便憑著這張處男專輯《The Fall of Math》大獲好評而平地一聲雷竄起，獲譽為「後搖滾新紀元」代表之一。一方面完美地將math-rock結構性與emo旋律情緒(該團曾說At The Drive-In是啟蒙之一)植入典型爆炸post-rock格局中產生血脈賁張的化學變化，另一方面自英國Sheffield的他們得以將彷彿源自同鄉傳奇電子名廠Warp的leftfield/glitch-electronica影響破格地共冶一爐而毫不突兀。
