曾被喻為「Mogwai和Aphex Twin混合體」的65daysofstatic，在2010年的第四張專輯《We Were Exploding Anyway》中以更直接了當的Groove鋪陳，取代了首張專輯《The Fall Of Math》裡那些輾轉反轍glitch-electronica聲響與狂亂drill'n'bass節拍的運用，展現出更接近digital-rock/techno-rock風格的效果。
