Adrianne Lenker這個名字或許陌生，但她其實就是美國獨立搖滾名團Big Thief的女主唱。

這次她在一間小木屋裡完成了錄音，《songs and instrumentals》所有製作過程全部類比，呈現出一張讓人感受到溫度的acoustic indie folk動人之作，唱著遺失、孤獨、遺憾的主題，靜謐且質樸。

而專輯封面，則是她祖母的畫作。
