Alison Wonderland絕對有本錢在2010年代中葉以降的EDM世代中大紅，可惜的是卻始終星運多舛浮浮沈沈。畢竟她很早就獲Diplo譽為澳洲最佳DJ之一，爆紅成為極早登上EDC Las Vegas主舞台的女性DJ/製作人，2018年專輯《Awake》更讓她二度在Billboard跳舞/電子專輯排行榜上奪冠。

孰料在2019年底晉升百大DJ前50名的同時，Alison Wonderland卻因心理健康問題取消所有巡迴計劃，接著又面對疫情帶來的種種影響。

而她今年終於回歸帶來與《Awake》相隔近四年的全新大碟《Loner》，這是繼去年的San Holo之後、近年來最讓人觸動的泛EDM trap專輯。

長年面對心理健康問題的她，在《Loner》中更深刻地展示了她的脆弱，卻是為了藉由承認自己的黑暗面，「觸底反彈」後賦予自己力量，反倒成就她最積極、最有正向一張專輯。

更特別的是，專輯中的「串場曲」〈I’m Doing Great Now Thanks (Interlude)〉居然埋了一個梗來點題。奧妙在於，這首歌透過CDJ「倒播」（reverse）播放出來後，歌詞才能被「正常」聽到：

「I refuse to let sadness overcome me

Everything comes in waves, up and down, and back again

All the disorder is what keeps me going

It will all make sense in the end

I only accept LOVE」

甚至專輯中還帶來了〈Eye Closed〉這首drum & bass風格的作品，更是讓人驚喜。
