主唱Aidan Moffat那低喃沈厚的磁性嗓音依舊暗藏著的一份失落憂傷氛圍，訴說著關於愛情、死亡和性愛的詩意故事，但這張暌違長達16年的回歸專輯《As Days Get Dark》卻讓蘇格蘭雙人樂團Arab Strap帶來不同面貌與更多驚喜，那些加入的afrobeat bongo節奏/電子節拍、薩克斯風...等都來得恰到好處。特別是有如Nick Cave遇上Love And Rockets的這首電子歌德後龐克作品“Here Comes Comus!”實在太迷人。
