2021 年在我已經大推過很多次的Shall Not Fade廠牌發行《Amor Fati》EP 打開知名度，愛丁堡出生、現居倫敦的電子音樂人Barry Can’t Swim在2023年加盟Ninja Tune後以首張專輯《When Will We Land?》大放異彩，把deep house、stutter house、organic house與jazzy downtempo、帶有非洲打擊感的節奏拼貼成一張既好跳又細膩的「音樂自傳」，在陽光世外桃源中坐穩年度house大作名單之列還入圍 2024 Mercury Prize。
