Description

在90年代曾被NME音樂週報喻為「全世界最酷樂團」，持續橫跨流行、另類、搖滾、饒舌範疇去製造出年輕時尚聲音的Beastie Boys，在與《Ill Communication》相隔四年的這張《Hello Nasty》中，褪去了過去活躍的搖滾態度，重拾基本步地帶來一張滿溢80年代old-skool hip-hop/electro興味，卻仍舊散發著天馬行空之想像力的趣味專輯。

而為樂迷所津津樂道的，便是慧眼獨具地起用Mixmaster Mike在專輯中負責scratchin’，間接貫注了自90年代中葉以降壯大的turntablism色彩——是說大家不可能忘記〈Three MC's and One DJ〉這首超級名曲吧！
