自80年代起就已憑著冰島樂團The Sugarcubes主唱身分崛起的Björk，一直在向創作極限進行拓展與自我挑戰。《Fossora》是她暌違近五年後的第十張專輯，記錄了她在疫情期間重返家鄉Reykjavík和子女生活、並經歷母親去世而重新思考自己根源的過程，並在美國實驗R&B歌手Serpentwithfeet、他的兩個孩子Sindri與Ísadóra、印尼電子雙人組Gabber Modus Operandi、冰島低音單簧管六重奏Murmuri共同合作下，繼續讓人感受到她將創新概念和深厚情感揉合的前衛art-pop風範。
