90年代英國傳奇電子組合The Black Dog最初以Black Dog Productions為名、在Sheffield名廠Warp Records旗下所發表了這張蔚為典故的首張專輯，曾獲Slant Magazine選為「20世紀25大電子音樂名盤」之一。

當中集結了The Black Dog陣中三人Ed Handley、Andy Turner與Ken Downie分別以Plaid、Close Up Over、Xeper、Atypic、I.A.O.、Discordian Popes、Balil等不同化名發表的單曲，風格涵括IDM breask、ambient techno、Detroit techno⋯⋯等，其中一曲〈Clan (Mongol Hordes)〉的最早版本曾以〈The Clan〉收錄在超經典合輯《Artificial Intelligence》中。
