第一次聆聽這張專輯就在不經意中被深深吸引，宛如封面視覺般構思了一幅簡約迷人、卻予人無垠想像空間和可能性的音樂風景。

出生於San Diego與Tijuana之間邊境地區的唱作人Braulio Lam，在《Close Up》中以沉思溫婉的ambient dub和trip-hop組態為主軸搭配感性的歌聲，偶而點綴的吉他剪影所帶出的爵士、拉丁、藍調音韻更添迷人深度，甚或dub techno動態的浮現（聽聽〈CineStill〉、〈Eastman〉）非但不突兀反倒讓人驚豔。
