在2010年代裡，Canblaster無疑是將另一波法國電子舞曲浪潮推向世界的指標DJ/製作人，除了曾為Charli XCX、Boys Noize、Junkie XL等炮製remix名單之外，最重要的是他曾與Myd、Sam Tiba、Panteros666等法國好手合組的Club Cheval，於2016年時在我曾經很喜歡的、由Brodinski主理的Bromance Records旗下發表首張專輯。

這張最新的《LIBEROSIS》黑膠發行，其實就是集結了率先數位上架的《LIBEROSIS (ACT I)》、《LIBEROSIS (ACT II)》與《LIBEROSIS (ACT III)》三部曲，透過大量modular synthesizer建構了一個受到video game、科幻電影、漫畫等復古回憶影響、關於時空穿越之旅的概念專輯。

最讓我趨之若鶩的是，大量nu-skool breaks、progressive breaks節奏組態的運用，成為這躺旅程的主要驅動動力，完全讓我回想起90末到2000初期那些屬於Adam Freeland自家廠牌Marine Parade乃至Sasha、BT等名字的好時光。更要一提的是，操刀mixing的乃是曾與The Chemical Brothers、UNKLE經典專輯合作的幕後大將Steve Dub。
