新專輯《The Scholars》將背景設定在虛構的大學，從而發展成一張融合搖滾歌劇敘事的概念專輯，探討了青春與宗教等主題，靈感來自莎士比亞、莫札特、聖經文本，以及 The Who 《Tommy》、David Bowie的《Ziggy Stardust》等經典，野心滿滿卻又細膩內斂。

音樂上，風格多元可以從power op涵括到glam rock、art Rock。也因為主要使用類比設備錄製，而展現了更溫暖的聲響質感。
