當時一聽就喜歡上CHVRCHES這個被選為「BBC Sound of 2013」第五名的蘇格蘭synth-pop/indie electro-pop樂團，相信其中一大主因是被女主唱Lauren的甜美外型與嗓音所吸引。這次的《Screen Violence》是該團十年有成的第四張專輯，因疫情影響所以團員們分隔在洛杉磯與蘇格蘭格拉斯哥兩地錄製完成，當中最大話題之作是與The Cure主唱Robert Smith 合作的單曲〈How Not To Drown〉，正好也呼應著這次專輯中蘊含的80年代post-punk/gothic色彩。
