先是對於90年代中葉後indie-crossover-club 混種戰線的強化延展貢獻不斐，再到悖離舞池取向地踏上neo-psychedelia旅程，以Richard Fearless為首的Death In Vegas歷經近九年沉寂後終於回歸，在自家廠牌 Drone發表新作《Death Mask》。

以「從出生到父親辭世」的敘事為主軸，設計成個人生命地圖，音樂風格與聲響處理上則是延續這幾年間兩度以個人名義Richrad Fearless推出的兩張專輯《Deep Rave Memory》跟《Future Rave Memory》，大量依賴vintage硬體效果器建構一首首深邃techno樂章，折射進粗糙失真、時而浮現dark ambient色調的industrial與 dub 空間感之中，體現那些個人記憶、喪親情緒與全球凋敝感，情緒張力在陰鬱與微光之間擺盪。
