Description

Deltron 3030的這張首張同名專輯《Deltron 3030》於2000年橫空出世，成為當時alternative hip hop體系中的重要名盤，主因之一當然來自於Deltron 3030的超強鐵三角陣容——舊金山美籍日裔名將Dan The Automator(Gorillaz/Handsome Boy Modeling School/Dr. Octodan)、天才饒舌歌手Del the Funky Homosapien和Ninja Tune旗下超強唱盤演奏高手Kid Koala。

概念上，忠實電玩迷Del the Funky Homosapien從一款名為Megaman X的遊戲中獲得靈感，為《Deltron 3030》這張吸納了Sun Ra、George Clinton等經典音樂影響的概念專輯設定了公元3030年的時空背景（甚至封底的出版都赫然印上3030年），講述著被資本主義摧殘壓制的地球。此外，網羅了Prince Paul，Mr.Lif、Peanut Butter Wolf、Beans（Anti-pop Consortium）等hip hop/rap名將乃至Damon Albarn（Blur）、Sean Lennon這樣強大的客席陣容跨刀也是一大亮點。
