誰會比Air、Daft Punk這些巨星級名字更有資格被AllMusic 音樂網站譽為法國電音圈中最具影響力，答案是Etienne De Crecy。

他的資歷包括身為French House先鋒Motorbass成員，曾數度為Air單曲擔任監製或混音，又或者是身為法國電音獨立廠牌Solid的創始人。無疑，Etienne De Crecy這個名字之於French house體系而言是充滿著貢獻與傳奇色彩。

而時間倒回1997年，Daft Punk與Air這兩個法國雙人組合的首張專輯《Homework》與《Moon Safari》，串連出擊將當時的「Future Sound Of Paris」風潮推向最高峰。但在此之前，Etienne De Crecy化身之Super Discount所出版一系列單曲，在1996年時集結成這張同名合輯《Super Discount》，無疑就是引爆90年代末French house風潮的重要大作。
