如果你很喜歡愛Caroline Polachek，那麼是時候認識並喜歡上Hyd了。

因為在Hyd這張透過hyperpop頭號名廠PC Music發表的首張專輯《Clearing》裡，頭尾兩首歌曲〈Trust〉和〈Afar〉便有Caroline Polachek合寫，更耐人尋味的是Beats Per Minute網站的樂評有一句描述《Clearing》的聽感是「想像一下Caroline Polachek在墓地裡唱歌」（？）

事實上這樣的形容是可以理解的，因為有PC Music老闆 A. G. Cook與已故Sophie兩位hyperpop指標參與製作的《Clearing》，的確將hyperpop帶向一個與過往印象不同的低迴陰鬱氛圍之中，甚至還蘊含了些許來自90年代那些post-trip hop/post-Portishead組合般的迷濛美感。
