從2019年大放異彩的首張專輯《Significant Changes》再到主理老牌DJ-mix系列《DJ-Kicks》其中一集，都已經徹底展現了Jayda G那揉合deep house/disco/UK garage、娉曾獲葛萊美獎提名的卓越音樂品味。

而即將發表的這張全新專輯命名為《Guy》，當中穿插著她已故父親William Richard Guy的錄音，藉以深入描繪她的生活與經歷，並向她祖母以及黑人女性的韌性和力量致敬。音樂上邀來曾發表多張專輯並與SAULT、Adele等合作過的Jack Peñate共同製作肯定是焦點所在，此外還有Ed Thomas（Stormzy、Jorja Smith）、Ibeyi的Lisa-Kaindé Diaz跨刀。
