對應Britpop年代的Oasis vs Blur雙雄爭霸，其實更早的90年代初indie dance體系中也有過雙強鼎立的局面——而比起EMF，自己的確是更為喜愛Jesus Jones——包括主唱Mike Edwards的嗓音。

而1991年的今天，他們發表了這張創下樂團高峰的第二張專輯《Doubt》。音樂上所呈現的那種偶而蘊含迷幻美學的indie-dance風貌，不僅有助釐定日後的techno-rock/dance-rock藍本而得以與Nirvan名盤〈Nevermind》同一年入圍葛萊美獎最佳另類音樂專輯獎項，《Doubt》更成為英國金榜冠軍並打入Billboard專輯榜top 25締造搶眼的商業成就，當中的〈Right Here, Right Now〉、〈International Bright Young Thing〉更成為該團的大熱單曲。
