美國電子製作人Jlin的第二張作品《Black Origami》展現了footwork的破格可能性，而這樣的可能性，在最新迷你專輯《Perspective》中更是無極限地強化——形式上大抵已完全突破footwork的框架，卻透過大量取樣Third Coast Percussion ensemble的有機打擊樂，將footwork節奏原本所蘊含的生命力與靈魂，以跡近modern classical/minimalism美學的角度體現出來，於是乎〈Paradigm〉和〈Dissonance〉比起過往作品都更為柔和，甚至閉幕曲〈Duality〉更是前所未以的典雅。

《Perspective》雖然只是一張六曲迷你專輯，但每首樂章都滿佈繁複精密的微小細節讓人能夠再三品味，無疑建構完成了Jlin再次突破以往的專屬實驗系bass music聲響空間，是屬於這個世代的IDM（intelligent dance music）藍本。
