近期Peggy Gou發表《I Hear You》的確是焦點所在，但我私心更鍾愛另一位韓裔女性電子音樂人的首張專輯——JNN Aprl搬回首爾後所完成的《Gift N Curse Principle》。

從十年的fine art學習過程轉化到沉浸於音樂創作中，居住在底特律與芝加哥的生活經歷也讓JNN Aprl深受Detroit techno/house的洗禮，所以在這張由一首首deep techno、leftfield house乃至downtempo樂章串連而成的專輯裡，你或許可以感受些許源自Moodymann、Carl Craig等經典名字的潛移默化，抑或媲美Theo Parrish對於爵士文本的轉譯美學，甚至是宛若Actress的深邃氛圍，但最終體現的是她投射了細膩藝術美感後對於「techno」的獨特詮釋角度。
