相較於英國饒舌女歌手Little Simez新專輯《Sometimes I Might Be Introvert》成為各大音樂媒體2021年度名單的最大贏家，John Glacier在 Vegyn （曾與 Frank Ocean 、Travis Scott合作）自家廠牌PLZ Make It Ruins旗下發表的首張大碟 《Sometimes I Might Be Introvert》雖不若前者那樣集萬千寵愛於一身，但John Glacier這位來自倫敦、曾與Dean Blunt化身的Babyfather合作MANNA的新進饒舌女歌手，卻完全證明了她會被譽為"英國最令人興奮和難以捉摸的天才之一"絕非浪得虛名。

不但透過詩意、間或蘊含龐克態度的詞藻，展現John Glacier無與倫比的說故事能力，更重要的是，在 Vegyn共同製作下，那一首首蟄伏著電子線條的短小精幹作品，某種程度上會讓我回想起兩千年初曾大愛的cLOUDDEAD、Anti-Pop Consortium、EL-P這些IDM hip hop/avant-garde hip hop/psychedelic hip hop指標名字，絕對是自己鍾愛這張作品的另一個私密原因。
