在他為《Deadpool》、《Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice》、《Mad Max: Fury Road》......等一部又一部大片譜寫電影配樂而更廣為人知之前，你還記得、或者接觸過Junkie XL在2000年代以DJ/電子製作人身份帶來的《Radio JXL: A Broadcast from the Computer Hell Cabin》與《Today》這兩張出色專輯嗎？

事實上自己對於Junkie XL接觸始於90年代末期，因為他在1997年時發表的首張專輯《Saturday Teenage Kick》正好趕上方興未艾的big beat/chemical beat風潮。而於2006年發表的《Today》雖沒有前作《Radio JXL: A Broadcast from the Computer Hell Cabin》那樣眾星雲集的話題性(僅有Nathan Mader一人跨刀獻聲)，卻見到Junkie XL帶來一張凝聚力十足、彷彿將他的第二張專輯《Big Sounds Of The Drags》升級、強化progressive house/breks舞池動能後的優異成果。而在Nathan那神似Robert Smith的嗓音演繹下蘊含著低迴搖滾張力的首支單曲〈Today〉，更是當年我在Partyroom極愛播放的曲目。

這張日盤獨家加收UNKLE幫〈Today〉炮製的Remix版本之外，還加贈一張收錄歷年7首單曲MV的DVD。
