電子音樂家Kate NV來自俄羅斯，卻帶來一張聽感極度「日本」的上乘流行電子之作——甚至開場曲〈Oni (They)〉居然讓我遙想起90年代末的嶺川貴子（Takako Minekawa）。

事實上，她將竹村延和（Nobukazu Takemura）視為音樂英雄，所以這張《WOW》呈現了一種將minimalism、electronica-pop、80年代new wave與日本city pop復古音韻共冶一爐的奇幻電子art-pop圖像。但《WOW》的最大魅力，在於音樂上所展現的充滿童趣好奇心的創作視角，就如同這個無底討喜的可愛專輯封面般，讓聽者可以情不自禁地投入到色彩繽紛的不可預測世界中。
