在2020年，威爾斯電子唱作女將Kelly Lee Owens那張充滿層次與空間感的techno/bass music/electronica的第二張專輯《Inner Song》是那樣地動人與耐聽。但在原本計畫好緊接而來的世界巡迴演出因疫情被迫取消後，她決定前往奧斯陸待在零下幾度C，攜手前衛噪音藝術家Lasse Marhaug，試圖從Enya的音樂得到啟發，誕生這張將堅硬冰冷的techno/industrial聲響與空靈的居爾特神秘主義相結合、具有多層次ambient聲響的新作。
