商品描述

憑著經典單曲〈Losing My Edge〉、〈Yeah〉在2000年代以先鋒姿態引領風起雲湧之disco-punk風潮，曾任90年代另類搖滾樂團Pony鼓手的James Murphy所化身的LCD Soundsystem，在2007年發表了這張萬眾矚目的後繼專輯《Sound Of Silver》。

不但延續著2005年首張同名專輯那樣將post-punk、funk、electro-disco、synth-pop、garage-rock乃至psychedelia共冶一爐而來的折衷思維，更讓人見識到他如何將以六人完整樂團型態進行巡迴的經驗融入創作中，與自家廠牌DFA戰友Tim Goldsworthy聯手鎔鑄出結構更為紮實的精練disco-punk/electronic-rock造型，甚至蟄伏著絲絲屬於80年代的new wave、neo-romantic元素而來，繼續打破rock與dance之間的界線。

但最令人驚艷的，還是那首以其家鄉紐約為主題的閉幕曲〈New York I Love You But You're Bringing Me Down〉，竟是一首如斯觸動心靈的6/8拍慢板樂章。
