Description

UNKLE主腦James Lavelle主理的Mo' Wax廠牌搶在2000年代初期disco-punk運動爆發的多年前，便「先知先覺」地為紐約disco-punk/punk-punk先鋒樂團Liquid Liquid出版這張集結早期名曲的同名專（精）輯（選）《Liquid Liquid》。

特別要說一下裡面所收錄的〈Cavern〉，當中的bassline後來被Grandmaster Flash & Melle Mel取樣後創作出經典名曲〈White Lines (Don't Don't Do It)〉（Duran Duran也有翻唱過）。至於背後的「有趣」故事是，據知這個取樣沒有經過正式授權，而且bassline的取樣來源並非Liquid Liquid原曲、而是由the Sugar Hill Records house band翻玩後的版本。
