早在1996年便已成軍的瑞典indietronica/electropop樂團Little Dragon，雖然遲至2007年才發表一鳴驚人的首張同名大碟《Little Dragon》，但之後平均兩、三年便發表專輯，質量並重，第四張《Nabuma Rubberband》還曾入圍葛萊美獎「最佳跳舞/電子專輯」。


《Slugs of Love》是該團的第七張專輯，踏著「Daisy Age」年代般hip -hop breakbeat而來的輕盈開場曲〈Amöban〉已做出最佳預告，接著一首首蘊含舒暢柔順groove的alt-pop樂章便得見Little Dragon將indie-pop、neo-soul、PBR&B、synthpop、disco-funk等元素信手捻來。而當年邀請Little Dragon參與Gorillaz專輯《Plastic Beach》的Damon Albarn，這次也禮尚往來地為〈Glow〉一曲跨刀。
