這是洛杉磯indie-pop雙人組Magdalena Bay的首張專輯《Mercurial World》，結合多彩電氣色調下踏著輕盈indie-dance節拍而來完全投我所好，同時濃濃的retro-futuristic氣息彷彿帶來了加州陽光的溫暖，更適合冷冷的冬天裡聆聽。

在女主唱Mica Tenenbaum的演繹下，從Gwen Stefani、Grimes、Dua Lipa到Chrvches都是會被提到的關聯性想像，但最有趣的還是專輯開場沒多久的標題曲Mercurial World在末段借用了Madonna名曲〈Material Girl〉。
