Description

威爾斯傳奇搖滾樂團Manic Street Preachers發表了這張第三張專輯《The Holy Bible》，完全褪去出道時的glam-punk色彩，《The Holy Bible》蟄伏的是吸納Joy Division、早期The Cure影響的低調Post-Punk氣息，建構了獨一無二的Manic Street Preachers美學，成為該團的一張90年代經典，也誕生〈Faster〉、〈Revol〉、〈She Is Suffering〉等名曲。但不幸的是在發行後，靈魂人物吉他手Richey James Edwards從此「人間蒸發」，使得《The Holy Bible》成為最後一張有他參與的作品。
