雖然憑著2009年首張專輯《Great Lengths》在post-dubstep體系中一鳴驚人，但在受邀主理DJ-Mix專輯《Fabric50》之後，Martyn這位荷蘭電子音樂大將卻繼續透過《Ghost People》與《The Air Between Your Words》兩張專輯，展現了嵌入tech-house肌理的多面向bass music可能性（前者更獲Mixmag雜誌選為2010年代72張最佳專輯之一）。

這張最新推出的《Through Lines》其實是張合輯，由Martyn精心挑選在2005到2015年之間發表、原本只在12吋單曲或上述《Fabric50》中出現的愛歌再進行remaster，風格一舉涵括deep dubstep、techno、UK garage、broken beat等節奏組態，某種程度上也可視為那10年間UK bass體系發展的縮影。

而〈Cloud Convention〉的收錄，彷彿在提醒大家別忘了Martyn其實最初發跡自drum & bass圈。
