個人覺得，芝加哥饒舌歌手McKinley Dixon這張第五張專輯《Magic Alive!》之所值得收藏，在於你即便英文不好沒辦法聽懂他如何將敘事推向更奇幻的層次來進行何謂「魔法」的提問，但單是享受著音樂上結合真實樂器演奏帶來jazz hop hop、jazz funk、psychedelic soul水乳交融的「奇幻」時刻，就已經好聽死！甚至我還覺得像是私心喜愛之兩張2000年初專輯的合體般——The Poets of Rhythm的《Discern / Define》與LiveHuman《Elefish Jellyphant》。

簡單說，《Magic Alive!》不僅是概念上的成就，也拓展了McKinley Dixon的音樂宇宙，豐富到近乎史詩傑作。
