Monkeytown是Modeselektor自家廠牌的名字，也是他們在2011年的今天（9/30）所發表這張第三張專輯的名稱。

這個由曾獲Radiohead主唱Thom Yorke青睞並合作的雙人組Modeselektor，繼續展示他們無法被單一化定義的電子創作思維， 從techno、UK bass到IDM、wonky、glitch-hop都能駕馭自如，而且精準。

邀來客席歌手跨刀的執行成果依舊出色，這次除了有Thom Yorke再度回歸，還有洛杉磯饒舌歌手Busdriver以及alternative hip hop名團Anti Pop Consortium都是亮點。
