第一首〈Age Of Love＞跟90年代trance名曲同名，音樂上祭出宛如我愛的90年代中葉以降的兩大英美big beat/chemical beat指標Lunatic Calm與Überzone遇上《Permutation》時期Amon Tobin的鏗鏘生猛breakbeat功架，叫我怎能不愛上？

但其實由Giovanni Petruzzelli 和 Michele Lamacchia 組成的Nuira來自義大利，簡單來說《For Unconventional Ears》就是佈滿90年代的各類老派breaks'n'bass浪漫，從big beat、drum & bass乃至breakcore、instrumental hip hop都能涵括。

更有趣的是，《For Unconventional Ears》偶而帶點IDM/drill'n'bass鬼才µ-Ziq名盤《Lunatic Harness (25th Anniversary Edition)》的韻味不說，貫穿〈Insane〉後段的「哇哇」電聲更讓人回想起Azzido Da Bass那首1999年超級舞池國歌〈Dooms Night〉！
