要論2023年裡以「英國電子舞曲脈絡」為指針向偉大流行航道前行的最成功代表，年紀輕輕的英國女唱作人PinkPantheress絕對當之無愧——補充一下，我想NewJeans粉絲應該也會愛上她的這張《Heaven knows》專輯。

回顧一下2021年那張收錄十首歌總長僅19分鐘的首張mixtape作品《to hell with it》，不僅讓PinkPantheress贏得「BBC Sound Of 2022」頭銜而一鳴驚人，私心更驚喜的是當中那首大熱單曲〈Break It Off》竟是取樣了90年代Adam F的jazz drum & bass經典曲〈Circles〉。

至於2023年發表的這張《Heaven knows》才是PinkPantheress 的正式首張專輯《Heaven knows》，有了Mura Masa、Danny L Harle（不要忘記他在2021年代來過一張結合hardcore、Euro-trance、bubblegum bass等元素的上乘hard dance之作《Harlecore》）、Greg Kurstin（Gorillaz、Adele、Foo Fighters）等多位大將共同掌舵製作，加上UK Drill新星Central Cee、PBR&B巨星Kelela跨刀，PinkPanthress透過她那如外貌般靈動甜美的嗓音，完美地詮釋了一首首蟄伏UK garage、drum & bass、old-skool breakbeat、Jersey club等行雲流水之電子舞曲節奏組態乃至柔美動聽之PBR&B、bedroom-pop元素的摩登流行曲，唱出這兩年來她在憂慮和孤獨中漂泊並對死亡進行探索的心境，卻也同時為英國流行工業描繪了閃亮的未來藍圖。
