Rich Ruth這位擅長多種樂器的音樂人來自Nashville，專輯也在現以Nashville為據點的Jack White（對，就是原The White Stripes成員那位）自家廠牌Third Man Records發表，你對這張《I Survived, It's Over》會不會有著偏向Americana/鄉村音樂的先入為主臆測呢？ 

但事實上，這張專輯卻是呈現了一個將ambient/new age、krautrock、astral jazz等風格共冶一爐而成的迷幻多重宇宙，時而即興妙不可言，時而狂野俯衝爆炸，時而神遊冥想療癒，總之整個聆聽過程都在不停地延展邁進。

附帶一提，這張上乘之作是由post-rock傳奇人物John McEntire操刀混音。
