《Kintsugi Soul Steppers》由加拿大菲律賓裔團體 Seekersinternational攜手 beatmaker製作人Juwanstockton共同完成，專輯名稱裡的「Kintsugi」其實是一種源自日本的傳統修復工藝，以此為名象徵著將多種文化、舊聲音素材修補重組的創作理念，最終完美地把牙買加 dub、美式soul取樣與80 年代日系ambient合成器音色剪影共冶一爐而來，偶而還能感受到彷彿 Madlib + Actress 合體可能呈現的美感，無論是層次豐富的聆聽深度還是文化面向，都讓人耳目一新。
