Description

除了寺田創一（Soichi Terada），與他私交甚篤的Shinichiro Yokota肯定是另一位從90年代起就將Japanese house音樂推廣到海外的傳奇名將，2020年那張《Ultimate Yokota 1991–2019》就足以讓人一覽他的豐功偉業。

他在2021年底於寺田創一自家廠牌Far East Recording旗下發表的這張睽違兩年的新專輯《Tokonoma Style》，終於在2023年初首度迎來黑膠發行，收錄一首首主要使用AKAI S1100取樣機、KORG M1與PROPHET-5等早期合成器（2LP）而誕生的都會Japanese house樂章，當中偶而隱含的懷舊日式city pop/retro funk色彩都是那樣地柔和輕鬆，毫不矯揉造作。
