Description

自90年代初創團以來，Stereolab每一次出擊，總能讓樂迷滿足於該團一次次從源自Krautrock樂團Faust及Neu!影響轉化提煉而來的聽覺體驗，探索出一種揉合asy listening、法國香頌、bossa nova⋯⋯等元素，平易近人卻不流於俗套的獨特post-rock/avant-pop美學，在實驗與可聽性之間找到獨一無二的位置。

這是1999 年的第六張專輯，那些曾在Stereolab過去作品中出現的各種元素，卻能在Jim O'Rourke、John McEntire兩位後搖滾大將的協力下，再以更高層次的實驗性精巧配置予以呈現，比起前兩張再向更繁複的室內樂與迷幻編制推進，在當時被重新視為 Stereolab 最野心勃勃的一次聲響實驗，也幾乎是《Dots and Loops》與後來《Sound-Dust》之間的橋梁。
