自90年代初創團以來，Stereolab每一次出擊，總能讓樂迷滿足於該團一次次從源自Krautrock樂團Faust及Neu!影響轉化提煉而來的聽覺體驗，探索出一種揉合asy listening、法國香頌、bossa nova⋯⋯等元素，平易近人卻不流於俗套的獨特post-rock/avant-pop美學，在實驗與可聽性之間找到獨一無二的位置。

這是樂團睽違15年的第11張正式錄音室專輯，長期休團之後的回勇之作，也是意義上的「新時代開場白」。延續他們一貫的復古未來感宣傳美學，音樂上仍以 機械性律動與 Lætitia Sadier 冷靜又溫柔的歌聲為核心，堆疊出大量類比合成器、管樂與電子細節，彷彿是把以往各個時期語彙重新編碼的總結再創造。並邀來 Bitchin Bajas 成員 Cooper Crain、Rob Frye 與爵士音樂家 Ben LaMar Gay 等人跨刀，讓聲響更偏迷幻、同時略帶靈魂樂色彩。
