Description

90年代裡，Surgeon雖然來自伯明翰，但其實被視為「techno purist」的他在德國電子音樂圈的知名度，卻反倒遠遠超越家鄉英國——是以他連續幾張專輯都在柏林 techno名廠Tresor旗下發表。至於這張1999年專輯《Force + Form》則是其90年代經典三部曲系列的最終章——前兩張分別是1997年的《Basictonalvocabular》跟1998年的《Balance》——不張揚地揉合源自Coil、Faust、Throbbing Gristle、Suicide、Steve Reich、King Tubby乃至日本富田勳、YMO的影響下，成為一張將Detroit techno與後工業聲響結合的示範之作。
