成立於英國曼徹斯、邁入創團20週年里程碑的The 1975，如今的搖滾天團地位乃毋庸置疑，兩年前那張由「Music for Cars」計劃誕生的《Notes On A Conditional Form》專輯更是他們的多元野心之作，從而讓NME將他們譽為過去十年來的最佳樂團。而該團首度與其他音樂人合作、便是與當紅的Jack Antonoff （Taylor Swift、Lorde）聯手製作所帶來的這張最新大碟，明顯地轉而向80年代的new wave/post-punk甚至是AOR取經，帶來一首首簡潔而直接了當的吉他流行曲。
