Description

儘管傳奇英國獨立搖滾樂團The Jesus and Mary Chain被視為shoegaze、white noise的先鋒指標之一，但這張由Wiliam和Jim Reid兄弟檔親自擔綱製作的專輯卻褪去過往的年輕氣盛，反倒溫和且返璞歸真許多，重點是有更多indie-folk、alternative country色彩的融入，是以不難理解為何當時據傳原本屬意力邀傳奇美國鄉謠歌手Lee Hazelwood操刀製作。

而此作的最大焦點之一，無疑是Mazzy Star女主唱Hope Sandoval跨刀合唱動人的〈Sometimes Always〉。
