與Pendulum一樣都以搖滾樂團型態起家的The Qemists，剛出道時曾獲MIXMAG雜誌譽為在那個年代裡如果The Prodigy與Pendulum合體的可能樣貌，首張專輯《Join The Q》展現那種爆發力十足的搖滾化dancefloor drum & bass風格的確讓我愛不釋手，更遑論專輯中除了有我喜愛的女歌手Jenna G以及Grime指標Wiley跨刀外，還網羅了90年代經典alternative metal樂團Faith No More主唱Mike Patton為〈Lost Weekend〉擔綱演繹。
