Description

Tim Reaper、Mantra、Decibella 倫敦三強合體的這張《Sage》12" EP，四首作品以溫婉的atmospheric drum & bass氛圍頭尾呼應（開場曲〈Charades 〉還能鋪底ragga jungle式bassline是亮點），中間兩曲卻能驚喜祭出動能轉強的darkside jungle與breakbeat hardcore/jungle techno攻略來得更急更彈掉彈跳感。

整張 EP沒有三人各自為政的拼盤感，而是推進成一個統一聲音，在柔與兇、優雅與粗獷之間取得很棒的平衡。

重點是，先前興奮地介紹過FABRICLIVE的回歸，原來不只是繼續推出DJ-mix專輯，而是要更近一步推行原創作品發表——今年稍早有gyrofield的《Akin》，年底再由《Sage》接棒，是很漂亮的收尾。
