通常要進這樣其貌不揚名字又陌生的黑膠需要梁靜茹或張震嶽給勇氣（？），因為如果沒時間寫介紹，99%的機率會成為庫存，但不進又對不起自己，畢竟這類外貌不起眼的黑膠常常就是珍奇異獸。

Toumba這張前陣子發行的《Janoob EP》就是其中一個例子。

之前我是先透過他在UK bass/dubstep指標名廠Hessle Audio推出的《Petals EP》認識到這個名字，這次新作則是轉換到另一個我自己大愛的廠牌Nervous Horizo​​n旗下發表。

如果你熱愛各類最先鋒bass music，喜歡deconstructed club、hard drum、slow-mo、UK funky這些子分類的話，那麼約旦電子製作人Toumba這張最新EP請無慮入手。
新EP名為「Janoob」——在阿拉伯語中意指「南方」——用以突顯Toumba居住地約旦南方的傳統音樂對他這張作品的影響（一些手鼓元素到Dabke節奏都包含在內），不張揚地蟄伏在那些沒有速度與常規限制的未來派節奏組態與聲響設計中，建構成他獨樹一幟的breakbeat science。
