回想從2000年代一路跨進2010年代，爵士名廠Verve當時啟動了一系列名為《Verve Remixed》的混音系列，一路一來網羅的DJ/製作名將均為當代一時之選，風格從hip hop到各類電子舞曲包羅萬象。這張於2013年發表的《Verve Remixed: The First Ladies》，顧名思義便是為多位傳奇爵士女伶的名曲換上全新remix彩衣。
