Description

1969年時White Noise這個傳奇性實驗電子組合成軍於倫敦成立，主要創始人包括成員包括都來自BBC Radiophonic Workshop 的David Vorhaus與Delia Derbyshire，而這張專輯的經典之處不僅在於運用了層出不窮的tape music技術，同時更是早早就透過合成器EMS Synthi VCS3進行電子音樂創作，從而建構了一趟充滿天馬行空想像力的瘋狂宇宙之旅，偶而來些易入耳的歌曲旋律讓人與現實世界連結著。

MIXMAG雜誌曾將《An Electric Storm》選為「史上50大最具影響力跳舞音樂專輯」的第一名！這的確是迷幻電子傑作，但你可能在直覺上無法將之與「跳舞音樂」一詞想在一起——事實是，這裡面的合成器風格潛移默化影響了後來的The Orb、Aphex Twin等近代電子舞曲指標。
